Lucas was 12 weeks old on Monday - it doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm simply in awe of the things the little guy can do already! He has no problem holding his head up - so he and I go on a lot of walks in his Baby Bjorn carrier. He now can also bounce around for a while in the bouncy toy Aunt Abby sent us! He usually takes a morning and afternoon nap and has been trying to go to bed around 7 each night. Last Sunday night he finally slept for a straight 10 hours - I was so worried I didn't sleep and actually poked him once during the night to make sure he was still moving! He sleeps the entire night in his crib in his room usually. He has begun teething and it has not only turned him into a drooling fool, but also made his little nose runny. Some nights, when its bad, he either has to sleep in his bouncy seat or I hold him up so he doesn't get choked up and wake himself up. This teething is coming really early and looks like it's going to last a looooooonnnng time.

While I'm writing this, he's actually bouncing in his seat and watching Mickey Mouse Club which facinates him!

He celebrated his first holiday - Easter this year - and had a blast! The easter bunny brought him a basket, but since he's too small to eat the candy, Mommy and Daddy had to eat it! We got up, put on our nice clothes, and headed to St. Michael's for the Easter service - and his first attempt at church. I said a little prayer that he would be ok sitting during the service and lo and behold - he was perfect! Daddy held him a while and he watched the people in their bright colored clothes coming in. Then he took a nap during most of the service. We spent the rest of the day at Nana and Grandpa Chittaro's.

Mother's Day was amazing - I have the most amazing husband and son. Philip did the feedings all night and painted me a Clemson themed bird house around 3am. I woke up fully rested to a happy baby and a dozen gorgeous red roses. We have been working in the yard planting and making it look nice. Philip had already planted me a couple of hydrangeas and a pink rose bush on Saturday. He planted us some red lantana Sunday on the bank. I enjoyed my day with my boys!
I've been interviewing for jobs around Hall County and hope to secure a job soon. Everyone's been so supportive and helpful in this quest. Auny Lynn and my mom have been visiting a lot and babysitting while I interview and nail down a job - we couldn't have done it without them!
The school year is quickly ending and Daddy will be home for the summer - that's super exciting for us all! It's so much easier when Lucas has more than just me to play with all day.
