Since both Philip and I started our new school years, Lucas headed to his own school at a local church in Gainesville. We love the ladies who work with him and completely feel safe dropping him off there every day.
School for me has been a little rougher getting used to. Not only is it a new school, but now I'm a mom who just wants to run out of there at the end of the day to play with my little guy. I also made the decision to earn my gifted certification this year so I have a class that meets on Monday nights whuch takes away from Philip and baby. But it's only a year and should help make my classes next year a little more managable.
Lucas goes in for his 9-month appointment next week and I'm anxious to see how heavy he is and how long he's gotten. We just bought his next car seat and put it in Philip's car since he drives him more. We thought we'd see how well he liked his new Britax seat and then decide on a cheaper seat for my car.
We're also looking forward to Thanksgiving next week. It's been a while since we've been to SC and I'm excited to spend time with friends and family.
